Thank you for publishing two powerful articles in defense of marriage ("What's absent for a unwed couple" and "Divorce affects even kids who seem to succeed"). It is not being unkind to those whose lives did not turn out to be ideal to remind us what the ideal is. The family is the foundation of any society; unless things change dramatically, our foundation is crumbling. — Ross S. Olson, Minneapolis.
