MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION

A game consists of 79 innings, each player on each team taking his turn at the waft.

After each inning the field is cleared by "pelly pickers" who are usually volunteer Little League wafters with mine detectors.

Games officially are to begin on the afternoon of the summer solstice and often continue until the crabgrass is in full bloom.
