DEFENSIVE POSITIONS: ROVING SCREAMIES

The two Roving Screamies (Rovers) jump from stumplet to stumplet, following the play as it develops. They are chosen far speed, agility and tenacity. A Rover must achieve with a few well placed words what a Fixed Screamie may accomplish with a soliloquy (owing to the extreme exertion of negotiating the approximately 5.3 feet between stumplets.) Rovers also need to stay on friendly terms with the Fixed Screamies with whom they must share space. They need to constantly guard themselves against (usually accidental) stray pellies from their teammates and (sometimes deliberate) wild backswings of the opposing Wafters.
