SNIVERS AND SNIVERSTANDS

Snivers and sniverstands are made of predominantly Grade B mahogany. The ball and socket are treated with common corn-fed Wabeenian Walrus oil extract which produces the desired quas-lubricatory effects. The sniver is honed to rigid IWS specifications such that the major topological dimension is a circular arc whose radius allows the perpendicular bisector of a 6'' cord to subtend 3/16 of an inch. It sits snugly in the socket of the sniverstand , which has been firmly implanted to ground level., notch towards the north (plus or minus 2 degrees) by the defensive fixer.
