Tell me a new new story,
The old one is now quite borey.
What we moderns thought up
Supersedes all the stuff
Handed down by
Ancient ones, hoary.
If it’s known long before,
Then I want it no more,
‘Cause by changing
We’re constantly better.
And if I just agree,
Well, then no one can see
That I’m thinking. Rejection
Alone gives us progress.
