A Prayer for the Pilgrim
Heavenly Father,
May he look to Your face
Encouraged and gently pushed along
Finding strength that only You can give
Shine Your Light on his path
And reveal to him how much You love and accept him
And that You are faithful
To complete the work You started in him
Use your tools, guided by Your Word and Spirit
To show him how awesome and good You are
May he sing praises to You
As he unloads his burdens upon Your shoulders
And climbs out of the valley
Supported by Your loving hands
Amen
