October 22, 1993 Letters From Readers Star Tribune 425 Portland Avenue South Minneapolis MN 55488 Dear Editor, James Pielemeier (10/22) bemoaned the fascist implications of "coercing" students to write letters complaining about TV sex and violence. And I bet he sounded pretty convincing too, especially to all the other folks without a moral compass or rudder. Let's see now, in addition to defending the free speech of pornographers, he will, to be consistent, have to support the private enterprise implications of the drug trade. Then, with a flourish of politically correct rhetoric, he will obviously need to demand tolerance of the child molester. After all, the poor fellow must have been born that way and cannot deny himself, can he? Welcome to the utopia of relativism. Sincerely, Ross S.
