Sent: Friday, March 27, 2020 To: opinion{at}startribune.com Subject: Value of Human Life At times like this we intuitively understand the value of human life. Even in the case of “battlefield medicine,” when limited resources must bypass those unlikely to recover, our hearts rebel against giving up on anyone. But where does human value come from? If we are evolutionary accidents, there is no intrinsic value. Earned value is a subjective debate. Evolutionists ought to come out of the closet and admit that their views favor elimination of the “weak,” whatever that means. The only worldview consistent with the cry of our hearts is that human life is given value by our Creator. Ross S.
